THE JOURNEY

We faced the dip. Our boat got striked but we never gave up. Here’s a thread explaining week after week how we’re comin to be one of the top Solana projects ever.

August, week 1

We face a development delay. Our previous developer literally rugged us. We know the song and are ready to receive the fud from our community. They're entitled to. That’s business after all. Only concern we have at this moment is quality. We know that the sniper bot - at the level we expect - would not be ready for August or September and we need to save time as best as possible to keep our people inside the project.

After 4 days, 13 hours per day searchin for a star dev able to develop a real deal sniper, we finally find our pearl: A French mate from l’Ecole 42 - for those of u who don’t know this school, it’s kinda genius factory where hundreds of young devs are building their skills - we got lucky enough to meet thanks to the friend of a friend of a cousin. Never underestimate the power of network they said. That’s a hell of a truth.

August, week 2

Imagine yourself explaining the sniper functioning with ur basic knowledge you have in coding (even though we are huge sniper users) to a knowledgeable dev youngster who never built one. Harsh. But so f*ckin cool. Cause yes, this is a great advantage: our guy is mind free and can build his own way. That’s a blast. He quickly gets all our points and puts himself to work analyzing the other snipers on the market. At the same time, we let lightning pass with our community and know that the holidays time is generally quieter. Thanks God.

August, week 3

As it is clear we want a complete new sniper, our designer handles first the interface with a key condition: user-friendliness. Sometimes it's easier to start from the shape to build great substance. No need to have millions of info on the screen as some of our competitors have and let’s go straight to the point: we must select our filters easily and snipe as fast as possible.

The core team reunites physically to decide on a rebranding. Indeed, we are facing fud and disinterest but we know for fact that we should focus on our top members, our best believers. Those would be the fuel of our renewal. Shoutout to Bno who brought so much. It’s all about community.

Rebrand ? Okay. But it shouldn’t be only on the sniper. We need a fresh “haircut”. Our website looks messy so let's work on it. 5 calls later, we got the email of a super skilled web developer, our dear Xavier. He accepts the challenge.

August, week 4

Okay guys, after analysis, your project seems strong, but you do not convey the right messages with your website. Give me 2 weeks, I get you a new & clean website”. Deal.

At the same time, our sniper dev has built the sniper framework and continuously shares his work with us. We are a bit afraid of the timing. September will not be our release month. But F*ck, we said we want quality. We are biding our time.

We need to open new roads to overcome our members' expectations. We then start a new Kaizostorm session. (our sweet way to name those endless brainstorming hours). On the whiteboard, we write “HOW TO BRING VALUE TO SOLANA NFT ENTHUSIASTS?”. Well, we know all the projects are claiming dumb evidence such as “serve the community” "we are community based” “community- oriented blablabla". They are d*ck suckers.

Truth is simple: serve the ecosystem to serve your people. That's how you grow a sustainable project. Thus, we retrieve 3 game changers' ideas from this Kaizostorm session, entering in September with the conviction that our time will come soon.

September, week 1

Few of our developers went for holidays and are coming back to business, fresh-minded. Great, they’re ready to give their best for what we planned during the past weeks. Our word needs to be spread. We have come to the clear decision that we must multiply the AMAs & collabs.

Our energized and great mods team goes in search of valuable builders projects. Luckily they get quickly in touch with AI labs. A super promising project based on AI art generation. Let’s collab with dem to offer some new NFTs to our community with a staking perk.

At the same time, we start building the team who will focus on the 3 big developments of Kaizoku Mechanics. As founders, we feel we are startin to cook the recipe: we’re gonna make our members dream come true.

September, week 2

Some of our members start to trust us again. We had a hard time but we definitely won’t surrender. This is the Kaizoku mindset : try, learn, adapt, repeat.

At some point, running a serious NFT project is running a company. 2021 bull market has made people believe NFT projects were one-shot plans but we move forward with the conviction that successful projects are the ones that will last in the time building.

These days, we finalize the collabs terms with AI labs and integrate the AI in our staking system thanks to Mekka Lab team.

We go for the presentation of the new website with Xavier. He nailed it. Period. We start to feel impatient to share our developments and our sniper dev has his nights working on the sniper bot.

September, week 3

We must surround ourselves. So far, we built things but we feel we need visibility and an outside view on the project. One of our holders - a successful venture capitalist - gives us a chance. “Guys let’s have a meeting to discuss about your strategy”. One hour call later, we’re sittin on our butts looking at each other speechless thinking “this guy is a f*ckin genius and we can only make it with such an advisor”. Our vision is refined and we decide to see the man every 2 weeks. The Degen mode is enabled.

September, week 4

Sauce, I got it. I found the way to skyrocket the sniper speed”. He finally made it. After a month and a half of hard work, the boy managed to build what we expected so far.

We learnt from our past mistakes: Let’s add an extra week of testing.

We binge on Twitter, seeking engaging influencers that could test our tools. Here is our point: if those influential guys are convinced, then they would tell their ppl to ape in Kaizoku Mechanics.

At last, we finally decide on the original way we would advertise our sniper, and no one is ready for this.

October, week 1

We’re currently writin the history.

By builders, for doers.
